I have returned!
Astute readers will have noticed a complete inability to access this blog for the last three weeks. The site got hit by a particularly virulent attack of spam which managed to get into many of my old and draft entries. I was planning to reformat it for when I finished in the Senate on June 30, so I took the opportunity while it was offline getting all the spam cleaned out to bring forward some of the redesigning. All of this meant it was offline for longer than I’d hoped, and also that it has come back before the redesign and fixing of old entries has been completed.
Many of the old entries are yet to reappear, and a few other changes to the layout will still be made over the next week or two. But I thought three weeks was a long enough silence, especially as I’m just starting out on my final two weeks of sitting in the Senate – not to mention the final two weeks where the Coalition controls the Senate. It has now also become my main homepage, so it is reached directly through the www.andrewbartlett.com address, without having to add /blog at the end (which might mean some of you need to update your blog readers and RSS feeds).
So the blog has returned – reformatted, renamed and hopefully reinvigorated. This was intended to match my shiny new post-June 30 persona, but I may as well start being reinvigorated a couple of weeks early.
